YOUR TOWN

SEW many of you asked if we had patterns for the Game Quilt that we decided to create this publication.  We are happy to introduce YOUR TOWN.  Now YOU can create your own unique landscape quilt, utilizing the techniques and principals and templates we employed to create the Game Quilt.

In the process of creating the Game Quilt, Aurora used Microsoft Visio (a computer graphics program) to "draw" each of the buildings that she ultimately created for the Game Quilt.  The "drawings" that Aurora created were subsequently used to create "templates" which were then used in the actual construction of each of the individual buildings on the Game Quilt.  As Aurora had already created "drawings" for each of the buildings, it was a relatively simple matter to translate her original drawings into "templates." 

YOUR TOWN is a CD that contains "templates," derived from Aurora's original "drawings," that will allow you to create each of the 24 "buildings" that you see on the game quilt.  This publication is not designed to enable you to make a copy of the Game Quilt, rather it is intended to serve as a guide for you in the construction of your own quilt using the techniques and methods we employed in the construction of the Game Quilt. 

In addition to the templates, we provide you with an instruction manual that gives you insight, tips, tricks, techniques and a detailed description of the steps, logic and design parameters that we employed in creating the Game Quilt.  We show you how to create a template form a photograph, and provide you with resources and suggestions as to how, and where, to find the inspiration for your own, unique, landscape quilt.  We also provide you with a "logical" approach to creating raw edge landscape type quilts that will make the creation of YOUR TOWN QUILT an enjoyable and efficient process.
